Waterval is een meeslepende, interactieve textielinstallatie die is ontworpen als een poëtisch tegengeluid voor hedendaagse geopolitieke, wetenschappelijke en cyberconflicten.Zwevende draden van stof—met de hand beschreven in een rijk kleurenpalet—vallen als een klinkende waterval naar beneden en vormen een dynamische stroom. Op het textiel zijn handgeschreven boodschappen van vrede, hoop en verbondenheid aangebracht, uitgedrukt in ontelbare talen van over de hele wereld.Voorbij passieve contemplatie nodigt Cascata de toeschouwer uit tot actieve deelname: bezoekers worden aangemoedigd om een boodschap in hun eigen taal te kiezen, deze fysiek los te snijden en mee te nemen de wereld in. Door deze participatieve handeling verandert het publiek in dragers van de boodschap. Net als een krachtige stroom water wordt vrede vloeibaar, dynamisch en onstopbaar.

Waterfall is an immersive, interactive textile installation engineered as a poetic counter-narrative to contemporary geopolitical, scientific, and cyber conflict.Suspended fabric strands—hand-scripted in a vibrant spectrum of colors—cascade downwards to form a kinetic water-like continuum. Imprinted upon the textiles are handwritten messages of peace, hope, and unity, articulated in multiple languages from around the globe.Beyond passive contemplation, Cascata invites the viewer to actively engage: visitors are encouraged to select a message in their language, physically sever it from the structure, and carry it into the world. Through this participatory act, the installation transforms the audience into messengers. Much like a surging current of water, peace becomes fluid, kinetic, and unstoppable.
