Sara Terpino

Sara Terpino is a multitalented Italian artist from Vico in Lazio – Italy.

She graduated in Printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts in Frosinone where she studied under great internationally renowned masters such as Andrea Lelario, Patrizio Di Sciullo and Piero Cesaroni who decisively influence and inspire her graphic and stylistic style.

Traveling around the world,  she stayed for a longer period in England; where she decided to return to her native country to complete her studies in the Sculpture Department focusing and finetuning her third dimension skills.  This spurs her also to an Erasmus abroad –  to Poland at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow – where she works with Krzysztof Nitsch, Tomasz Bielecki and Janusz Janczy who positively influenced her towards her greatest passions : the environmental installations and the bronze sculptures.

Sara holds a MFA degree in  Sculpture and Visual Arts since 2019.

After her academic years, she moved to Belgium to work as the assistant of the world famous Iraqi artist Athar Jaber specialized in the marble sculptures. Meanwhile she works and creates her own installations and pieces. She also collaborates with the Van Geert Foundry in Aalst, where she stars again with her favorite material: Bronze. From 2021 to ’22 she created sculptures for Peter Rogiers, Koen Vanmechelen, Thomas Lerooy, Marie Thijs, José Vermeersch, Philippe Geluck…  From 2023 until today, she has worked with Christophe Charbonnel, Lio Lirong, Patrick Villas, Tom Herck, Jűrgen Lingl and Valérie Hadida at the Bronsatelier in Zottegem, for Art Fairs and Biennale exhibitions around the globe.

Sara currently lives and works in Oudenaarde – Belgium – giving life and corpus to her artistic expressions and continues creating her personal art and collection.
